Oruamo Reserve
Auckland council recognised the Oruamo reserve was a beautiful area but due to its sloping topography was underdeveloped.
This, in conjunction with the existing foot paths shouldering busy roads, lead Council to design a path through the grove of Norfolk Pine trees.
Traffic Systems Ltd called on Modern Environments to help out with building the board walk. This involved hydro-excavation of post holes to protect tree roots from digger damage, bridging ponding area and making the board walk safe in all-weather for pedestrians. Another successful parks project completed by Modern Environments for TSL and Aucklanders.
